Melbourne's North is characterised by numerous well-serviced
greenfield sites in the outer parts of the region (the Cities of
Hume and Whittlesea), and re-development opportunities,
or brown-field sites, located in the inner parts of the region (the
Cities of Moreland and Darebin), available for
lease or purchase at a relatively lower cost to comparable sites in
other like parts of Melbourne and Sydney.
It is one of the least expensive and most desirable places to
do business.
